AI drafts are a starting point, not a final product. Two tools in Acadly AI are designed for the rewrite pass: AI Paraphrase and AI Humanizer. They solve different problems and belong in different places of your workflow.

AI Paraphrase rewrites dense paragraphs in one of eight modes, including Standard, Academic, Formal, Simple, Creative, and Shorten. You pick a synonym strength and compare the original against the rewrite side by side. Use Paraphrase when the paragraph is correct but awkward, or when you need to vary phrasing to avoid repetition across a long chapter.

AI Humanizer addresses a different problem. A paragraph can be grammatically correct and conceptually right while still sounding like a model wrote it. Humanizer applies tone (Casual, Neutral, Professional) and creativity (Low, Medium, High) settings to restore rhythm and voice. Run it on any section that scored high on the AI Detector.

The recommended sequence is draft with the Research Writer, edit prose with Grammar Checker, restructure awkward paragraphs with Paraphrase, polish voice with Humanizer, and finish with Detector and Plagiarism Checker. Five passes, each doing one thing well.

Never rewrite more than you need to. Every rewrite is a chance to drift from the source. Rewrite the paragraph, not the meaning.
